Alexander Schaltuper

GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Alexander has more than twenty years’ experience in the oil industry. Earlier in his career, at Trafigura, he focused on supply and logistics to markets across West Africa. Alexander later spent time working for BP’s joint venture, TNK-BP. In 2012 he structured the first large supply of LPG to East Africa. Alexander’s experience and network in the global oil trade enabled him to build Stonewin into the business it is today and explore new projects that meet the energy challenges of the future.

Tariq Osman

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Tariq joined Stonewin as a partner in 2016 to drive growth in government contracting. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s operations globally. Having secured contracts with the DLA-E in Greece, Australia, the Philippines, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, amongst others, he is presently focused on optimizing and expanding Stonewin’s footprint in government contracting further. Before Stonewin Tariq led the government contracting business for a commercial oil company that designs, builds, and invests into oil infrastructure, including ports, terminals, as well as road and rail facilities.

STELIOS MAKRIS

GROUP CHIEF CREDIT, RISK & COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Stelios joined Stonewin in 2020. His career spans over 23 years, during which he worked as Group Credit and Compliance manager for Rudder SAM in Monaco, part of the d’Amico Shipping Group. Stelios is responsible for credit-risk, regulatory, legal, and tax issues across the Stonewin Group. He also manages the insurance policies of the organization. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, as well as a member of the Institute of Transport & Logistics.

ASHVIN RAMDENEE

CEO – STONEWIN (MAURITIUS) LIMITED

Ashvin joined Stonewin in 2021 from Vivo Energy Mauritius Limited (VEML), where he held a number of senior roles in the marine, aviation, and in-land business in Mauritius. Before working for VEML, Ashvin worked for Shell Mauritius Limited and Shell Global since 2000. Ashvin brings a wealth of experience across different industry segments in Mauritius and globally.
