Stonewin supports Danish Anti-Piracy Operation in the Gulf of Guinea
Stonewin, has exciting news for the global bunkering and shipping community. We have transitioned to a new bunkering vessel , the M/T Verde, a state-of-the-art bunker supply vessel. Equipped with a double hull and built in 2013, this ship is poised to meet the marine fuels needs of customers in Port Louis, Mauritius.
What’s special about the M/T Verde is its capability to deliver two main types of fuel: Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HFO). The tanker also has capacity to deliver MGO. This versatility ensures that Stonewin can meet the varied requirements of its clients. Plus, all fuel deliveries made by the M/T Verde will be accompanied by Stonewin’s Bunker Delivery Note (BDN), ensuring transparency and quality assurance.
This launch isn’t just about a new vessel; it’s a testament to Stonewin’s commitment to excellence in the bunkering industry. Since stepping into the Mauritius bunker market in 2019, Stonewin has set the bar high as a physical bunker fuel supplier. Stonewin was quick to comply with the International Maritime Organisation’s regulations on sulphur content in bunker fuels, demonstrating their dedication to environmental standards.
